Blueberry Smoothie

When you do not have time or not in the mood to cook, a simple smoothie is a great alternative to still get essential nutrients for your morning. Blueberries are filled with antioxidants, protein, potassium, folate, vitamin C, and vitamin B6. Combined with chia seeds, rich is protein, phosphorus, magnesium and fiber, this smoothie is a power drink.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1 cup almond milk
• 2 tbs of organic honey
• 1 tbsp. coconut oil
• 1 tbsp. almond butter
• 1 tbsp. chia seeds
• ½ tsp. vanilla extract
• 6 ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Add 1 to 2 tbsp. of water if you would like the smoothie to be a little thinner.
